The Institution offers a space for coexistence and training for participation and citizenship, with the development of the protagonism and autonomy of the children and adolescents served.

​

It also carries out actions with families and guardians in order to strengthen the protective function of the family, contributing to the improvement of their quality of life and preventing the rupture of family and community bonds, making it possible to overcome situations of social fragility experienced.

​

For that, it counts on the work of Social Worker and volunteer Psychologists.

THE PROJECT

The SOCIAL SERVICE service of the Lectícia Fonseca Sociocultural Center is carried out through the following actions:

​

  • Reception, guidance and guidance for children and families;

  • Socioeconomic analysis of families;

  • Home visits;

  • Identification of specific demands for better intervention;

  • Expansion, mobilization and strengthening of support networks;

  • Defense and guarantee of rights;

  • Conversations with families.

Psychological care is offered to the children and adolescents served.

The team is made up of volunteer psychologists and aims to:

  • Individual service;

  • Social groups and strengthening of bonds between children;

  • Strengthening the family bond.
